My dear child - La mia cara bambina

After so many portraits of the children of other people, this is the first time I draw my daughter, Katy. Now it is the turn of the smallest.

Dopo tanti ritratti dei bambini delle altre persone, questa è la prima volta che disegno la mia bambina,Katy. Ora è il turno della  più piccola.

"Walking in my shoes"-Sulle orme di sua madre?

A sneak peek at my last work: inspired by the images of "houte couture" of Valentino, Christian Lacroix, Dior couture etc. that I found in the journals of Vogue a few years ago.

And then, drawings of my 5 and a half years old daughter ,who loves to draw and apparently wants to follow  my footsteps (or maybe those  of dads who paints divinely),however I do not know how it seems to you but I find this drawings absolutely fabulous, considering her young age.

I am a very proud mom!

Una sbirciatina sul mio ultimo lavoro: ispirata dalle immagini di "houte couture" di Valentino,Christian Lacroix, Dior couture etc. che ho trovato nei giornali di Vogue di qualche anno fa.

E poi,disegni di mia figlia maggiore di 5 anni e mezzo,che adora disegnare e vuole quanto pare seguire le mie orme(o può darsi quelle di papà che dipinge divinamente),comunque non so come sembra a voi ma io trovo questi disegni assolutamente favolosi,considerando la sua giovane età.Sono una mamma molto orgogliosa!

Dia de los muertos paper doll and other stuff... - Dea dei morti paper doll e altre cose...

Probably this will be my last work before the birth of my second baby girl, even though I have yet to finish at least one commissioned illustration and unfortunately many others I have to leave for the "after",hoping that my new little girl gives me a bit of free time between one feeding and the other!
Here I attach the photos of the paper dolls of my child of 4 years old (very soon),lately  she wants to do everything what I do (you will find an example in the post of "Tea for Two") and it's really fun to work together ,each one on proper table, as in an art studio!
Maybe I'll see you  once more before  the "D-day", if not, a big hug to everybody and  hope  to see you soon!

Probabilmente questo sarà  il mio ultimo lavoretto prima del parto,anche se ho da finire ancora almeno un illustrazione  commissionata e purtroppo molte altre le devo lasciare per "dopo",sperando che la mia nuova bimba mi regala un po di tempo libero tra una poppata e l'altra!
Qui vi allego anche le foto delle bamboline di carta della mia bimba di 4 anni (fra pochissimo), ultimamente vuole fare tutto quello che faccio io (un esempio lo troverete anche nel post di "tea for two") ed è veramente piacevole lavorare insieme, ogni una al proprio tavolino,come in uno studio artistico!
Può darsi pure che ci vediamo ancora prima del D-day,se no,un grande abbraccio a tutti e a rivederci presto!
